Disposable Cages, Superior Process
The Innovive disposable rodent caging system was brought to market in 2005.
Since that time it has been adopted by facilities worldwide, including installations in some of the world's most prestigious universities and scientific centers. Many are of significant size, with the largest to date being 26,000 cages.
1. Disposable IVC is Designed with Research in Mind
The Innovive Disposable IVC Rodent Caging System consists of (1) individually ventilated (IVC) racks and (2) lightweight disposable cages.
Innovive IVC racks provide a gentle environment for the animals as well as an advanced level of connectivity and data management for users.
Disposable caging removes cage processing from your facility, which results in simplified protocols and an improved biosecurity profile.

2. Research-Ready Caging Simplifies Vivarium Protocols
RECEIVE: Innovive disposable caging is delivered Research-Ready™: securely double-bagged and irradiated (with options for pre-bedded cages and pre-filled bottles), so no additional processing is required before use.
STORE: Caging is received directly into clean cage storage, and later to the animal holding rooms.
USE: Cage changes are performed under the hood. Dirty caging components are bagged under the hood, wiped down and taken to the recycling dock.

3. Simplified Protocols Improve Biosecurity Profile
Elimination of dirty cage processing inside the facility removes a key opportunity for cross-contamination. This makes it easier to adhere to protocols and to control process, improving the ability to maintain a high level of biosecurity.
