Innovive Inc Announces
a Major Installation of Disposable IVC Caging Facility
at the Stowers Institute in Kansas City, MO

Innovive Inc, the market leader in high-performance single-use rodent housing, is pleased to announce the successful installation of the Innovive system at the new 12,000 cage SPF rodent facility at The Stowers Institute for Medical Research (Stowers) in Kansas City, Missouri.

This new state-of-the-art facility was designed and constructed without a cage wash and will therefore run exclusively on Innovive caging technology. The choice of Innovive allowed the project to be completed in less than 12 months and significantly reduced the capital funding requirements.

In addition, Stowers has eliminated the very high levels of steam, energy and water associated with operating a traditional washing and sterilizing operation. Innovive has also established a tailored material recovery and recycling plan for all of Stowers's used PETE cage materials.

"We are delighted to have been chosen by Stowers to deliver this next generation of animal housing technology. By providing a flexible, scalable husbandry solution we were able to speed up the critical time to opening for Stowers while enabling them to increase their housing capacity over time to meet their research needs. By eliminating the burdens of the washroom, we have not only created a more cost effective operation but made it a safer, more pleasant environment for their staff," said Dee Conger, CEO of Innovive, Inc.
